𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴—𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄

We participated in the Singapore Health Product Access and Regulatory E-System (SHARE) industry briefing hosted by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA). This marks a significant milestone in Singapore’s move to digitalize and streamline regulatory submissions for health products.

🔍 Why this matters:
The 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗦 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺, offering a more unified and user-friendly experience for regulatory submissions related to medical devices, therapeutic products, and other health products. For companies involved in regulatory affairs, R&D, quality assurance, and MedTech innovation, staying compliant during this transition is critical.

📅 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿:
✅ 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟳 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 – Submit all urgent new applications via MEDICS
✅ 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝟰 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 – Respond to Input Requests (IRs) on MEDICS by 5:00 PM
🛑 𝟰–𝟭𝟯 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 – Cut-over Period: No access to MEDICS; the system will be taken offline
🚀 𝟭𝟰 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 – SHARE officially goes live. All new submissions must be made through SHARE

📌 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀:
✔️ Assign appropriate user access on CorpPass before 14 July
✔️ Conduct internal training on the SHARE system
✔️ Communicate clearly with regulatory teams about cut-off dates and transition plans
✔️ Understand that any changes made in MEDICS after 4 July will not be migrated

This transition is more than a technical upgrade — it’s a push towards more efficient, transparent, and structured health product regulation.

Let’s make sure we’re ready. ✅

Thank you to the Association of Small & Medium Enterprises and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Singapore for organizing a thought-provoking and energizing event that brought together innovators, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts under one roof.

One of the event's key highlights was the insightful presentations delivered by distinguished speakers Richard Goh, Valerie Leong, and Jonathan Ong, who provided structured frameworks and practical, real-world strategies for fostering innovation within organizational environments.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲:
🔁 “Working Backwards” Approach—A product development mindset that starts with the customer. Instead of asking, “What can we build?” the better question is, “What does the customer need?” This approach reframes innovation with clarity and intention, from FAQs to solution prototypes.

🏛️ 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻—Innovation isn’t a one-off effort—it’s a habit, a system. It’s about removing barriers, empowering small teams, and fostering curiosity at every level of the organization.

🤖 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀-𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗲𝗻-𝗔𝗜 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀— Exploring Amazon’s Gen-AI capabilities wasn’t just eye-opening—it was empowering. From content generation to ideation support, AI has the potential to transform the way we work and create, especially in resource-strapped environments.

🤝 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲—The Networking Luncheon was more than just exchanging business cards. It was about connecting with like-minded individuals who share a vision of leveraging technology for meaningful impact.

This event reminded me that innovation is not just about new tools—it’s about new thinking.
Here’s to cultivating that mindset and collaborating across industries to build solutions that truly matter. 🚀
