We are delighted to share that ARQon joined the TAITRA trade meeting, organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council, which was hosted at Raffles Hotel on 19th May. The event had seen some companies from varying sectors such as Automobile, Telecommunications and Paper and Forest Product Manufacturing, coming together for this event.

ARQon International Business Group visited the Embassy of Costa Rica and met up with the ambassador, Víctor Hugo Rojas González, and First Secretary, David Yifong Li Fang, in Singapore. This fruitful meeting shed light on the potential and advancements in the Medical, microtechnology and aerospace sectors.

Last day of the International Medical Device School (IMDS) event hosted by ARQON in Temasek Polytechnic (TP), participants were treated to a final day of insightful talks and interesting site visits.

Lectures on the intricacies of medical device development, covering ideation, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing and medical biochemistry fundamentals. Participants later toured the TP Research Centre for Biomedical Engineering, where they observed the latest developments in biomedical engineering research and the translation of such developments into new products.

Finally, the event ended with participants presenting their ideas for biomedical engineering products. This provided a great opportunity for participants to showcase their creativity and innovative thinking, and to receive feedback from their peers and industry experts.

The exchange of knowledge and ideas proved to be immensely valuable in fostering collaboration and exploring opportunities for growth and innovation.

ARQon CEO delivered an enlightening talk on regulatory compliances in the Medtech industry at NUS GRIP. Attendees gained valuable insights into navigating the regulatory landscape, ensuring compliance, and driving product development and market access. Attendees gained a comprehensive understanding of the impact of regulatory compliances on the Medtech industry and how to effectively navigate through them.

Day 3 at the International Medical Device School (IMDS) hosted by ARQON. The day consisted of talks and workshops covering various aspects of the medical device industry, including market trends, case studies on bringing products to market, labelling medical devices, intellectual property rights strategy, careers in MedTech, software validation and usability, US FDA regulatory requirements, and medical device commercialization.

The speakers shared their knowledge and experience with the participants, who were able to learn about the challenges and successes involved in the MedTech industry.

The Asia Summit on Global Health (ASGH) organized by Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) plays a role in promoting and supporting the development of the medical industry in Hong Kong. While HKTDC's main objective is to facilitate trade and business activities, it also provides various services and initiatives specifically aimed at the medical sector.

Our corporate expansion director, Al Low, had the pleasure of meeting with Miss Pattara Vasinwatanapong, Senior Partner of Wissen & Co Ltd, a legal firm in Thailand that specializes in commercial and business law. During the meeting, Miss Pattara shared valuable advice on the incorporation matters and discussed strategies for protecting the interests of foreign shareholders conducting operations in the country.

We look forward to working with her and the team at Wissen & Co Ltd to ensure that our company is fully compliant with all applicable laws and regulations in Thailand, and that our foreign shareholders are protected throughout the process.

Day 2 of the International Medical Device School (IMDS SG), which included talks and workshops covering various topics related to medical device innovation and quality management.

The day included discussions on biodesign and innovation, quality management systems, electrical safety, risk management, and medical device packaging, among others. The workshops encouraged collaboration and problem-solving skills, while the talks emphasized the importance of product safety, sterilization, and regulatory compliance in the design and production of medical devices.
