Philippines: FDA Circular No.2022-005 || Guidelines on Labeling Requirements of Drug Products under

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Circular No. 2022-005, which offers some details on the procedure for labeling drug items under Maximum Retail Price (MRP), was released by the FDA in June 2022.

The FDA Circular, which provides specific instructions on how to print the MRP statement on the package label of the drug product, is pertinent to all licensed drug producers, traders, and distributors of drug goods covered by the MRP.

Old labeling materials for registered drug goods have a one-year exhaustion period from the circular's effective date (23 June 2022).
