The Medical Device Authority (MDA) is set to enhance its application process by transitioning to a fully online system for advertisement approvals starting 1 March 2025. This digital shift aims to improve efficiency, streamline submissions, and provide a more seamless experience for applicants.
Key Updates
1. Online Submission via Google Forms
From the enforcement date, all applications for advertisement approvals must be submitted exclusively through the designated Google Form. This transition will create a more structured and accessible submission process, reducing paperwork and processing time.
2. Email Notifications for Approval Letters
Once an application is approved, the advertisement approval letter will be sent directly to the email address provided in the application form. As part of MDA’s digital transformation efforts, hard copies of approval letters will no longer be mailed out.
Preparing for the Transition
To ensure a smooth transition to this online system, MDA encourages all applicants to:
Familiarize themselves with the new submission process
Ensure their email addresses are accurate and actively monitored for notifications
Stay updated with further instructions and guidelines, which will be shared closer to the implementation date
