Taiwan FDA is currently seeking public feedback on three new regulations in cosmetic products.
The Authority proposing draft Regulations for the Inspection and Examination of Imported Cosmetics, including requirements for the methods, techniques, items and scope of sampling checks and sampling tests, together with other administrative measures.
They are also proposing the draft for Issuance of Permit License of Specific Purpose Cosmetics, to ensure protection of safety and health of consumers. The draft proposals will be receiving comments until 9 February 2019.
A series of amendments for regulatory requirements for the use of limited dosages of ingredients in cosmetic products is also made and will be receiving comments until 15 February 2019.
