The Morulaa Conference provided an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain insight into the Indian medical system. This conference presents an opportunity for professionals to have a one-to-one interactive session from all over all the world to engage and discuss the latest trends in the healthcare and compliance space to identify potential business partners.

Followed by a series of wonderful events that Morulaa planned after all the beneficial networking sessions. A short mesmerising show by an Illusionist with stunning mind reading capabilities, Gala Dinner & Cocktails with Live Celestial Music from Kolkatta and South Indian Dance Recital that were taught to the attendees.

On February 10, “Vietnam-Singapore Business Forum 2023”, organized by the Embassy of Vietnam in Singapore in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and Investment on the occasion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s visit to Singapore.

The purpose of the visit was to mark the special milestones in our bilateral relationship with Vietnam. Firstly, to celebrate our 50th establishment of diplomatic relations and secondly, establishment of Strategic Partnership. Further collaborations involved Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry and Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade signing MOU on a Green and Digital Economic Partnership which creates an umbrella framework in energy, sustainability, infrastructure, digital economy and innovation, and connectivity.

The continuous bilateral economic relation aims to connect both Singapore and Vietnam to create many opportunities in several industries including the healthcare and MedTech industries. We look forward to contribute and work with many potential business partners from Vietnam in the future.

Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong opened the event by expressing appreciation toward SingHealth for its contribution during the pandemic. As the event returned after a hiatus of more than three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he witnessed transformational gifts presented in support of neuroscience and saw how the Academic Medical Centre Sdn Bhd (AMC) continues to advance in healthcare innovation and research.

The Gala’s theme, ‘A New Dawn’, signifies AMC's emergence from the pandemic with a renewed sense of purpose to transform and deliver care that is more patient-centered, value-driven, and efficacious.

Funds raised included 50 million from Lee Foundation, a total of 14 million from G.K. Goh family and 30 donors and others during the gala dinner. The fund presented to National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) in support of the ‘Ecosystem for Dementia’ program and for other advancements in healthcare and research, as professionals aim to push through boundaries to develop Medical Technologies that can improve the lives of patients and benefit society.

Did you tune in to the APACMed Annual General Meeting that happened last Wednesday? The event discussion included the outcome of our advocacy efforts in 2022, as well as their plans to engage the APACMed community and the wider #MedTech industry in 2023.

She shared with potential consumers during the event about how ATTOPOLIS provides services such as AttoNews, AttoForum, AttoTrade and AttoService. Clients can interact through forums and share news, they are also able to place products on the marketplace for transaction over a product or a service.

She also went around different booths to also learn about the products or services that would benefit the MedTech industry. There were also conferences and workshops providing the very latest updates and insights into cutting edge procedures, techniques and skills.

It was a valuable and insightful experience for ARQon group and we hope to attend more events to gain more knowledge that will be beneficial to us as well as the MedTech industry.

The event was insightful and allowed us to share about ARQon’s portfolios of services including our B2B International Medical Digital Platform, ATTOPOLIS which helps to greatly benefit the members of the Chamber.

Launched by Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Heng Swee Kiat, the DTTC is a national strategy aimed at connecting emerging tech startups and talent while the HIP is a one-year on-job training programme that enables biomedical research and academic professionals to gain industry experience.
