It was a fantastic event that brought together local professionals and overseas trade offices from all around the world to boost Singapore companies' business growth. Delighted to meet our friends from global trade offices and embassies,
MedEnvoy Global visited the ATTOPOLIS@ARQon headquarters to understand the regulatory approval process in Asia and ASEAN.

We are also glad to introduce Gabriel Sim from Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed) to Rene van de Zande and Edgar Kasteel from MedEnvoy and share the contribution of the association to helping the Asia MedTech industry.
We look forward to collaborating to create synergies and to help US and European companies make products available in the Asian market for public health access.
Our CEO, May Ng, and our Corporate Expansion Director, Al Low, recently met with our partners in Mumbai to discuss how importing and exporting works in their country.

The meeting emphasized the importance of understanding different countries' rules and regulations and highlighted the need for careful planning, compliance, and efficient communication. Additionally, the meeting covered various factors such as the Indian Healthcare Industry's opportunities, the differences between private and government care, setting up joint ventures with manufacturers, and using intermediaries to source for suppliers and distributors.
It was a pleasurable discussion and they were able to gain insights pertaining to the Indian Healthcare Industry.

Background of Kankeiren
Kansai Economic Federation is a public interest incorporated association with 1,300 members operating in the Kansai region, established in 1946. They focus on the whole Kansai region through an active exchange of views among business people.
Our CEO, May Ng and Quality Consultancy and Corporate Expansion Director, Kong Tat Low (Al Low) visited various incubators such as Centre of Battery Engineering and Electric Vehicles (C-BEEV), IIT Madras Bioincubator and Indian Institute of Technology, Madras Incubation Cell.

They were amazed by the innovations of the incubators. Here are some details of what the incubators are doing:
1) The Centre for Battery Engineering and Electric Vehicles (C-BEEV) is a research center in India that focuses on developing affordable and efficient energy storage solutions for electric vehicles (EVs). C-BEEV conducts research in areas such as battery chemistries, battery management systems, charging infrastructure, and EV design and optimization
2) Bioincubators are specialized facilities located within or near research institutions that provide support to early-stage biotech startups and entrepreneurs. They offer access to laboratory space and equipment, business support and mentorship, funding opportunities, and networking opportunities.
3) IITM Incubation Cell is the business incubation center at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) in Chennai, India. It has partnered with government agencies and industry partners to support the growth of the startup ecosystem in India.

The event brought in close to 200 guests, including ecosystem partners and stakeholders from local and international communities.
Thank you for inviting ARQon, and we will continue to serve the esteemed biotech and medtech innovators who graduated from the Singapore Biodesign programme.
The visit to Healthcare Technology Innovation Centre (HTIC) and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM) was a fruitful one from all the one-on-one sessions and the visit to some of the incubators.

We wrapped up the event with a rest and relaxation day with our CEO, May Ng, and Corporate Expansion Director, Al Low. They were guided by friends to shop around and had a wonderful drinking session with the rest of the participants present for the event.
This gives the opportunity to get to know everyone present and have the chance to have potential collaborations in the future. The chance to interact with one another allows these sessions to build relationships which leads to the growth in India's dynamic business community.
Our appreciation to Dr Muthu Singaram, CEO of Incubation, Healthcare Technology Innovation Centre (HTIC) and his team at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM) for inviting ARQon to be a guest speaker at HTIC.

Our CEO, May Ng, and our Corporate Expansion Director, Kong Tat Low, provided useful information on marketing, investment and regulatory strategy that would support their business needs beyond India. It was also inspiring to hear many innovations from the incubatees during our one-on-one sessions.
HTIC provides incubation support and mentorship to startups and entrepreneurs who are working on healthcare technology solutions.
