The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) will be organising a webinar on Learning Practical Product Grouping for Medical Devices / In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) from Industry and Regulator, supported by the Asia Regulatory Professionals Association (ARPA), Asia Regulatory & Quality Consultancy (ARQon), the International Medical Device School (IMDS), and the Health Sciences Authority (HSA).

The symposium featured prominent figures from important sectors of the health and biomedical industries who shared with the audience the successful innovations from Germany and recent developments in pharmaceuticals and biotech firms.
Germany was able to dominate the European pharmaceutical industry and ranked fourth globally in terms of R&D expenditures between 2016 and 2022. It was also highlighted that Germany's success in developing the first Covid-19 vaccine with EMA approval served as further evidence that German businesses are thriving in the biomedical sector.

The seminar organized by Singapore Manufacturing Federation, People’s Committee of Ha Nam Province, and the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam successfully received the attendance of His Excellency Mai Phuoc Dung, the Ambassador Extraordinary, and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Singapore.
