ARQon International Business Group had a great opportunity in the Global Public Procurement Marketplace 2023, jointly organized by KOTRA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Korea, and Public Procurement Service, Republic of Korea.

The conference was graced by speakers from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and experiences sharing sessions on the journey into the UN-related procurement market.

ARQon was represented by our International Business Venture Services Director, AL LOW KONG TAT, excited about the business matchmaking session with more than 200 local exporters and 90 foreign firms coming from all over the globe! The chances of meeting with various industry players were leveraged by introducing our B2B one-stop services in the healthcare and MedTech industry, Attopolis.

The evening celebration was graced by the Senior Minister of State Singapore, Dr. Janil Puthucheary, the Ambassador of Romania, HE. Iulian Buga, and Members of Parliament Singapore, Mr. Patrick Tay Teck Guan, and Ms. Rachel Ong to celebrate the 105th birthday of Romania at the Fullerton Hotel. HE Iulian sang the national day song after his opening speech, and together with the guests invited from the government and private sectors appreciated the reception with joy and pride. Our warmest gratitude to the Ambassador of Vietnam, HE. Mai Phuoc Dung and the President of Food Manufacturers’ Association, Mr. David Tan Lye Hock for joining the table with our Global Business Development Director, Julie Dao.

ARQon CEO, May Ng ARQon l Asia Regulatory and Quality Consultancy was invited to speak at the Conference of International Medical Device Regulations hosted by Taiwan Food and Drug Administration, representing Singapore and SEA regions, to share updates on the medical device regulations in Vietnam and the ASEAN Medical Device Directive (AMDD) status and implementation. The conference was welcomed by Shou-Mei Wu, Director General of the TFDA.

We were proud to be a part of the conference with other experienced speakers, Tracey Duffy and John Jamieson from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) , Erik Hansson a senior advisor from the European Commission, Hailey Chu the Regulatory Lead of Global Oversight (Medical Devices) of British Standard Institutions, and Michael Bothe Head of Notified Body, Active Medical Devices, from DQS Medizinprodukte GmbH.
